Part of the cover of one of my sketchbooks from a while back. I remember holding it up in the coach window on one of college’s London trips and some moody guy in a bus opposite did a double take and started laughing.
I did something kinda self indulgent and drew Snake in Stuntman Mike’s gear from Death Proof…
I don’t associate Snake’s heroic brilliance with that shamelessly diabolical psychopath, but that jacket, those jeans, Kurt Russell, oh my.

Half-finished Old Snake that I promised myself will get coloured in, in some way or other, soon! I suprised myself with how far I got before I needed a reference picture. (f*cking command vest, arrghfhfdnjn)

(Sooo… I’ve been drawing again. I’ve left it that long, it feels like I’m drawing everything left handed… and I can see I’ve gone backwards a little in certain things… but I’ve got to get out of that not-good-enough mindset! The number one reason I draw is for fun, and if I deny myself that I just don’t feel like me!)
My camera turned up! This is the first thing I’ve drawn in i-don’t-know-how-long. Me and Sakura75 find Big Boss’s shocked gasp on this MGS3 secret theatre blooper hilarious. This is also silly. I watched How To Train Your Dragon with Steph(Sakura75) & Berni(Goldie) and Snake and Otacon turned up in my sketchbook as Vikings. Yeah. Deal with that one, Norse chronology.
(But I actually had the time to colour something in for a change, ohmigosh that never happens)
This is silly. Me & Sakura75 were playing with our food. Mini gingerbread men and chocolate sundae to be precise. I wish I’d taken more photos now; the ‘hair’ on her her Liquid gingerbread man was perfect XD
Hipster Ocelot, inspired by Pudding-’s geeky Ocelot (still laughing at “No, sorry, they were only pretty good”, by the way!!) Might do a colour version, but I’ve already ditched a load of end-of-year-show written work en lieu of drawing, so that probably won’t happen. Now I want to see pudding- hipster him up!!!

Road trip to Brid, & I already posted what I usually do on the beach, and I know Bridlington is no Costa Rica but I was dicking around & did this… much to the puzzlement of the friends I was there with. To the rest of you…

Practicing poses by copying skeletons of them, to learn the ways of dynamic posing and make my usual ones less static. Swishier hair, weight shifts, lines of action *Ommmmmm…. levitates*
More odd fanart. Well I always said I draw Snake too much and need to brush up on drawing female figures. If I look at it long enough, I might actually turn lesbian.
